Unimas interview airing this coming Saturday

Happy Monday!  I hope your Monday is going as awesome as mine is.  I was just interviewed by Enrique Teutelo, host at Unimas, the Spanish language network.  The interview – all in Spanish – will air this coming Saturday, September 21st, 2013 at 7:30 a.m.  We talked about my story and what it takes to get a book published.  I can see why people get hooked on this kind of treatment!  It was such fun!

In the “charmed life” file, everything about this interview was awesome.  They reached out to me after reading the piece about me in The Daily News.  (If you haven’t seen that, click here to read it).  The studio was in the next town over from me, Teaneck, NJ, so I was in and out in a little over an hour.  The host was welcoming and super-professional and really helped tell my story in an engaging way.  And the guests that went on before me, from Kean University, were very cool and had an awesome story to tell about their Spanish-language university-level program, the only one of its kind in the state of New Jersey and one of only a handful in the nation.  Read more about it:  click here.

Here are a few pictures.  I’ll be updating this slideshow with more as soon as my fellow guests (who were nice enough to take some) email them to me.

It’s really happening, people!

    • Thank you! It’s really exciting! And I do speak Spanish. I didn’t think it was a big deal as a kid but it’s turning out to be pretty handy!
