You know when you really, really want something and then you get it… and then it’s even better than you’d hoped? That sums up my experience at my very first book signing. People actually lined up… to get me to sign my book for them! Asked me to make it out to themselves/their daughter/their class/their library. Told me they’d heard of it and were excited to read it. Told me their stories and about the kids they serve.
So here’s my photo album of the weekend, including the shot from the beautiful hotel where my publisher put me up and a bit of Philly color. There are more pix of a cocktail party and a private dinner that happened at night, but I still don’t have those, so I’ll post when they get sent to me.
