THE SECRET SIDE OF EMPTY part of the Latinos in Kid Lit Reading Challenge

If you like Latinos in children’s and young adult literature (and, really, you must, right?), then you will love the Latinos in Kid Lit blog.  Full of great recommendations and links to insightful reviews, it’s an excellent resource if you’re looking to add some diversity to your picture book, middle grade or young adult library.

I was honored that Latinos in Kid Lit picked THE SECRET SIDE OF EMPTY as part of their February reading challenge, encouraging their members to give it a read.  Woot woot!  ¡Gracias!  As a Latina author of a book with a Latina protagonist, it means to much to know that people are championing diverse voices in kids’ literature.
