I love high school book festivals. This past week I was fortunate enough to be invited to a well-run, beautifully organized festival in Fort Myers, Florida. From the yummy breakfast we authors were treated to in the “author green room,” to the gorgeous posters up all over the school, to the yummy cake the culinary students made with our book covers on it, to the wonderful, engaged students in our chats and author panel, we were treated like royalty.
