Tomorrow night I am going to my first big writing industry cocktail party in New York City. I am so excited! My agency is celebrating an anniversary and is having a shindig in a very posh spot. Being a bit of an introvert at parties (I know, no one believes that but it’s true) I do wonder how I’m going to manage to go up to speak to so many cool people that will be there. But I hope that with the aid of some liquid courage I will not stand in a corner studying the wallpaper. So wish me luck, send me good cocktail party juju and stay tuned for my fab stories. This is a milestone on my journey to “real writer.”
