Turns out University of Texas-Austin is planning on allowing the carrying of weapons on campus starting August, 2016. Understandably, many students are less than thrilled (thank you, Austin students, for being a bastion of sanity). In protest, they are organizing an open carry of another sort, strapping dildos to their backpacks to underscore the absolute silliness of a policy that makes machines of death perfectly okay to lug around but bans implements of free sexual expression and pleasure.
My favorite part? The hashtag. If you want to follow the protest on Twitter, the hashtag to follow is #CocksNotGlocks.
