As I’ve written before, I’m totally enthralled with the Style Sheet the copy editor for The Secret Side of Empty put together while copy editing the book. I’ve posted part of it:

Now, just because it’s so much darn fun, I made a word cloud out of it. It’s a trippy combination of editing terms, like my favorite, “stet” (meaning “let it stand,” the thing you write when you want to say, “No, editor, I’m keeping it the way I wrote it,” a heady and powerful term) and words from the book. I think it makes for an interesting visual representation. Here it is:
