I came home from a four-day business trip and here’s what was waiting for me:
1. An Amazon box full of the five copies of my book I ordered just because.
2. A certificate and pin from the Junior Library Guild that makes it legit that my book really got selected for this prestigious honor.
3. An advance review copy of a fellow 2014 debut author’s book.
4. Adorable little “signed by the author” stickers I will put on all the books I sign. (If you’re coming to a signing, be sure to get yours!).
That is a truly writerly mailbox. Woot!
