Every place I’ve visited on my book tour has been special. Atlas DIY was special in a unique way and I will always remember the evening I spent there.
Atlas DIY is a wonderful non-profit in Brooklyn, New York, which offers programs for undocumented youth. They all read my book and I came into their book club to talk about it and answer their questions. Later I had a chance to talk to everyone privately. Wow. All I can say is that I had never cried at a book event until that night. It was transformative.
