Do you ever wonder what goes into naming a book? I’m always surprised by how many readers don’t realize that authors don’t always get to name their books… or that, at the very least, there is a story behind many of your favorite titles.
Fellow author Sashi Kaufman (author of the wonderful THE OTHER WAY AROUND, which got a starred review on Booklist, no small feat), sent out a call for “stories about titles.” I shared mine, and several other writers did as well. Sashi compiled them into her latest blog post.
