Oh, silly me. You may recall I was stressing the “Color Me Rad” 5K I’d signed up for but didn’t have much time to train for. I shouldn’t have! It was far more big outdoor party than it was serious athletic competition. Best time ever!!
It wasn’t timed, so I have no idea how I did. We did run a lot of it. so I felt good. Afterwards, we stood in a giant crowd and danced, then participated in a mass flinging of color up in the air. It was awesome! There are nooks in my body where I’ll be digging out the colored powder for a long time. I have one ear that looks like it will be permanently blue and purple. When I blow my nose, a rainbow comes out.
