Here is just one shot of the thousands of people turning out to protest the election of this thoroughly unqualified man. I am far away and ache to join them.
Protests are happening in San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, Boston, Philadelphia, Seattle, Washington, DC and Portland. Protest is American, an enshrined right. We must exercise it. We must speak out. We must keep a bright light on the actions of this man and his henchmen, to keep them accountable and prevent them from doing too much lasting damage.
I fly home today, and you’d better believe I’ll be on the streets of New York making my voice heard. If you’re worried about your freedoms, do the same in a city near you. It matters.
