Although the descriptions of Porcelain Angel say it blooms late, it was the first white iris to bloom in my garden, mid-May. Living up to its name, the flowers are an angelic, delicate white, with a hint of yellow at the center. It grew a little shorter than 38″ for me and the flowers faded after just a couple of days. Still, very pretty.
